Sharing Corner

Premier Smith suggested the provincial government could take over tax collection duties from municipalities at last week’s ABmunis Convention & Trade Show. She said such a move would reduce the burden on municipalities and clear up confusion about which parts of the tax bill are collected by which order of government. Municipal Affairs Minister Ric McIver said he was surprised by the positive reception to Smith's idea, which appeared "off the cuff," and "off script," Postmedia reported

Membership Profile

Your membership profile helps to provide information to the Board as they develop content for webinars, programs and conference sessions. Please be sure to complete it when you have a minute.

Privacy Policy Update

The AMTPA Board have expanded their Privacy Policy and the updated version can be found on the website.

The next time you register for an event, or try to update your profile, you be prompted to review and agree to the new privacy policy.

To shortcut this, edit your member profile and update the privacy policy flag then you won't be asked each time you register for an event.

FAQs

How do I login if I don't know my password?

Members can reset their passwords by clicking on the forgot password link and following the instructions on screen.   *Resetting your password also works to setup your password for the first time.

Remember to check your junk folder if you do not receive the forgot password email.

How do I change my information displayed in the member directory?

Login to your member profile, navigate to the Privacy link in your profile, click Edit profile.  Setting the field to 'Members' will allow other members logged into the website to see the information in the member directory.  Setting the field to 'No access' will hide this field from all members and only AMTPA administrators will be able to see the information. After making edits, click the Save button.

How can I add members to our municipality's membership?

If you have already paid for a membership with 2 or more members, please forward the other members you paid for this link that will allow them to submit their membership information. 

If you have not purchased a membership yet, fill in an application to join today.

If you've previously purchased a membership and now need to pay for additional members for your municipality, please email info@amtpa.ca with the details.
