Board Member Spotlight

This month we get to know a long time Board member, Trinity Hindes!

Since stepping into municipal government in 2017, my career has been shaped by curiosity, commitment, and a deep belief in the value of public service. I began in Public Works, moved into Utilities, and by 2021 found my place in the world of Taxation—each role strengthening my understanding of how municipalities truly function.

My journey with AMTPA began in 2022 when I joined the Conference Committee. I loved the experience so much that I soon volunteered to serve as the Director of Administration, a position I proudly continue to hold today. Throughout this time, I’ve remained an active member of the Conference Committee Board, helping shape meaningful learning and networking opportunities for our members.

I take great pride in championing AMTPA and elevating the visibility of our profession. Municipal administrators are far more than “just clerks”—we are essential to the integrity, efficiency, and success of local government. Sharing that message and supporting others in our field is a responsibility I carry with purpose and enthusiasm.
