Member Spotlight

This month we are introducing the Treasurer of the AMTPA Board. Stella Punko has been the Finance Clerk for the Town of Westlock for over 25 years!

As Finance Clerk, Stella is responsible for all duties relating to taxes, payroll and also moonlights as the HR Director.

Stella was one of the founding members of our Association prior to COVID. The need for a communication avenue between taxation departments in Municipalities was crucial due to the lack of available training and no certification. As she struggled when initially being handed the responsibility of the Municipalities taxation, it was obvious that an Association like this one was desperately needed to provide support and training.

In her spare time, Stella enjoys her family, friends and volunteering in her community.
