AMTPA is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, which is composed of members elected by the association. The Board is responsible for managing the association’s finances, maintaining the membership list, distributing newsletters and other communications, organizing webinars and the annual conference, and overseeing the website.
Directors are elected every two years at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). To ensure continuity, half of the positions are up for election in even years, and the remaining half are elected in odd years.
Elections take place during the AGM in September, with all members of the association eligible to vote.
