Join Eileen’s 2 Part Workshop: "Write Effective Emails While Dealing with Difficult People"

Eileen Pease has dedicated her career to mastering and teaching workplace communication. She authors and updates Dynamic Learning Inc.'s manuals, writes a monthly brain-at-work newsletter, and published Get More Power from Your Brain (2016, updated 2019).

With 30 years of experience, Eileen specializes in brain-based strategies for communication and interpersonal skills. She’s taught courses like Writing Effective Policies, Business Writing, Proposal Strategies, and Email Etiquette. She even shared her expertise as a Communication and Presentation Skills instructor in Dalhousie University's MBA program.

Eileen holds a B.A. (Psychology), B.Ed. from Dalhousie University, and a Master’s in Education from Mount Saint Vincent University.

In 2015, Eileen earned the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation—an honor held by less than 12% of 5,000+ Global Speakers Federation members.

The greatest challenge to communicating well is the fact that your mind works several times faster than a speaker speaks. You need a technique to quiet your tendency to listen to your own thoughts, to your desire to question and/or to offer advice, rather than truly concentrating on understanding the issue from the speaker’s point of view.

Write Effective E-mails, while Dealing with Difficult People

  • Organize your thinking, so that your writing is clear and concise.

Dealing with Difficult People

  • Listen fully to understand from the speakers’ point of view, while you stay in control.
  • Ask questions which will uncover possible solutions.
  •  Identify shared interests and differing interests.
  • Problem-solve using time tested strategies.

This workshop will provide excellent tips and techniques for those who need to elicit accurate information from others, particularly clients.
