The Alberta Municipal Taxation Professionals Association (AMTPA) is thriving! We’re proud to be growing a vibrant network of municipal property tax professionals who come together to collaborate, support one another, and keep learning. With over 345 members representing 149 municipalities across Alberta (and counting) our community continues to expand.

At AMTPA, we’re passionate about creating opportunities to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build expertise. From delivering high quality educational experiences to advocating for legislative improvements, we’re committed to supporting our members and strengthening the profession. And with partners like you, we can take that vision even further!

We’re excited to invite you to our 2026 Annual Conference, happening September 23–25 at the DoubleTree Hilton West in Edmonton, Alberta. This year’s event will spotlight timely topics impacting municipalities while also offering opportunities for personal and professional growth. And of course, one of the biggest highlights? Connecting with peers! The relationships and conversations sparked here help us all grow into stronger, more knowledgeable professionals.
